For the species, there isn't any categories to choose from. You can take one that already exists (Like Elves, Goblins, Humanoids, etc) or create a new one, in which case a little description of the race itself would be appreciated.
As the the planets, you can create your own planets. You can also create your own solar system and even galaxy. But nothing further than galaxies is allowed. As for the "home"s, it's just which were you born in. By exemple, everyone one has the
Home Mass: Voroxus
Home Super Mass: Loraïne
already in. But you can choose your
Home Planet:
Home Solar System:
Home Galaxy:
from whatever you want. Your choice. You can even "share" it with another player if you both want to, as an example, be in the same solar system.
Also, a universe is composed of super masses, who are composed of masses, who ... of galaxies, ... of solar system ... of planets.
